Saturday December 10th: Grotesque Indoor Festival 2022 – Back to the 80’s

 Rotterdam Maassilo sees the Grotesque Indoor Festival once again this year in December for the official edition of 2022. With 'Back to the 80's in the announcement, the team has once again come up with an appealing theme and it is expected that the general public will undoubtedly know what to do with it. So mark the date in your agenda quickly; Saturday December 10th it will happen!

Two Indoor Festivals of the entertaining Grotesque in one year! That's been a while ago!? Barely recovered from the rescheduled event in April, Grotesque has already been busy organizing the December edition. It gives an incredibly nice feeling to be able to mention that the 'blind' ticket sale that took place last week was sold out within 1 day and that the 'early birds' are also in great demand at the moment, despite no line up being announced yet. This promises something!

Back to the 80's

A lovely theme, we thought. Looking at the average age of the Grotesque following, almost everyone has lived through this glorious decade and so the creativity to do something with this theme should be easy to spark. “In recent years, we have noticed that people find the theme more and more fun and do more with it every edition. The nice thing about such a theme is that it connects visitors in a nice way and increases the fun factor! I think that is the foundation of a pleasant evening”, says Patrick van Grotesque.

DayTime Festival

After all the positive reactions to the last edition, we are sticking to the daytime festival. The doors will open at 3 pm and the last DJ will play his last record at 2 am. Home on time and free on Sunday to enjoy yourself or visit your mother-in-law ;) Up to you!
